FUN ON SUNDAY - ANNE MARIE & KEN
Tuesday, March 18, 2008 Greetings!
You might be wondering, “Where are the weddings”. Well, don’t worry. They’re coming. And in a BIG way….
But until then, we’re staying busy with editing, editing, editing, logging video, working on montages, and such.
This past weekend we had such a blast with Anne Marie and Ken, who are getting married in April. Anne Marie and Ken performed in their very own music video! Our music videos seem to be getting very popular, and we enjoy doing them!
Lynette and I drove out to meet Anne Marie and Ken on Sunday. Such a fun couple! And we met Anne Marie’s parents, too. I still have to say it......sorry…… but McNeal Video has the NICEST couples and families.
Anyway, I had never met Anne Marie or Ken before, but Lynette had met with Anne Marie, of course, and when they greeted each other on Sunday, they hugged like old buddies. For some reason, brides LOVE Lynette. Not only because she is the best videographer in town, but also because she’s a nice person and she truly cares about her brides. And I’m not saying that because I’m her sister. I’m saying that despite the fact that I am her sister.
So after everybody met everybody, we sat down per usual and listened to what Anne Marie and Ken had in mind for their video, saw their props, threw out ideas, then went to work.
Oh, and did I say we laughed a lot? Well, we LAUGHED A LOT. Anne Marie and Ken had picked out a song that is a classic with lots of props and things that could be acted out in the video, and they were both game for anything. Especially poor Ken. We had him climbing trees, running after cars, juggling vegetables, having car doors slammed in his face, and the best, we had him…..well, I think I will save that for the video. It’s just too funny to give away before the video comes out. But it was a HOOT. And Ken understood that the three of us women weren’t laughing AT him, but laughing WITH him.
Anne Marie did her share, too. But somehow, she just looked “classier” doing it. Even when she put on the pink bunny . . . . You know? I think I will save that for the video too. Again, just too funny.
By the end of the day, we were all laughing and having the best time. It felt like we had known Anne Marie and Ken for ages! And Anne Marie seemed like the kind of girl I could be good friends with. You know, the kind that I could meet after work for drinks? And talk about our crazy jobs, and cute shoes, and where she bought that adorable pink outfit, and other girlie things? And the guys would all be hitting on Anne Marie, and I would just keep drinking? But it would be cool because Anne Marie is so nice and doesn’t realize that she is so pretty and that was why all the guys were hitting on her? That’s the kind of friend. But Ken got her first. Oh well….
I do know one thing for sure, tho. This is going to be a great wedding and I am looking forward to it sooooooo much! And of course I’ll tell you all about it in April, so stay tuned, kids.
Time for bed!
