FRANKLIN BRIDAL BALL 2007
Saturday, July 14, we had a great time participating in the Franklin Bridal Ball held at the Factory in Franklin. We also shot footage of the show while we were there -- take a look at the clip above and you'll get an idea of how great the event was. If you didn't get a chance to make it, the Ball is really just that -- a BALL!!!
There were more than 100 vendors participating. If you needed anything for your wedding, it was there -- and more! Photographers, florists, caterers, videographers . . . well, you get the picture. The theme of the event was "Diamonds and Pearls". As each bride arrived, she received a strand of pearls to wear. This was not only a souvenir for the bride, but also made it easy for us to know who were brides and who weren't.

The show was especially fun for us since we had a booth next to Lifetime Weddings. Since we always enjoy working with Joey and Amy, we coordinated the decorations and combined the booths together. And since we wanted our booth to match the theme, we decorated with, you got it . . . diamonds and pearls! We were able to locate diamonds of all shapes and sizes (fake, of course) as well as pearls. Put that together with two flat screen TVs, a laptop, and iPod all running our demo video, and I must say that our booth was pretty awesome. Our price sheets were rolled up and held by large diamond rings -- they were stacked everywhere and were a big hit with the brides. Everyone wanted a diamond ring, and we were happy to give them away (along with our price sheets, of course)!
One of the treats of working a bridal show is getting to sample all the cake, drinks, and hordoerves! Yum! But the best treat is getting to meet all the brides and visitors, talking with them, and sharing our work with them. It really was a great bridal show and we enjoyed every minute of it. If you were there, drop us a note and say hello - we'd love to hear from you!
